Calendula & Oats Bath Salts DIY Recipe

I love the simplicity of this zero waste gift idea - salts are easy to find in bulk stores and you really could make a wonderful gift using just salt and an essential oil of your choice. Keep reading to see how you can develop the recipe a little more👩🏻‍💻

You will need:

- 150 grams/ 5 oz your favourite bath salts: I’ve picked Epsom salts but also Himalayan, Dead Sea, Sea salt - individually or combined - are also awesome

-Add 1 teaspoon of powder for extra properties and to retain the scent better: I chose colloidal oatmeal for its soothing properties. Arrowroot powder or cornstarch is also fine.

-Add up to 20 drops of your favourite essential oil: I chose lavender because I just cannot get enough of it 🙃 and who doesn’t like a relaxing bath? 🛀

- Add some dried flowers for decoration and to make the bath extra loving 🌼 Mix and shake well before closing the lid. ⠀
